I’m Nick Guimaraes — D-Licensed, insured soccer coach committed to building players who are technical, confident, and ready for the next level. I’ve coached across youth, high school, and college environments, and I bring a competitive but supportive approach to every session.

My coaching style is simple: challenge players with purpose, teach them the “why” behind the game, and help them grow into smarter, sharper athletes.

What I Bring to My Athletes

  • College-level training standards
  • Position-specific + technical development
  • Speed, agility, and confidence-building work
  • Tactical teaching + film breakdowns
  • Long-term growth plans tailored to each player
  • A competitive environment with high expectations and real support

Why I Started Milano Training Academy

I grew up in Haverhill and came up through the same fields as a lot of the players I train now. Starting Milano Training Academy was my way of giving players the coaching I wish I had earlier — individualized, honest, and designed to help them reach the next level, no matter their age.

My mission is simple:
Train with purpose. Play with confidence. Rise through soccer.

Started as a hungry sophomore at Haverhill High — learning, grinding, and building the foundation that shaped the player and coach I am today.

I grew up in Haverhill, and the game has been a constant from the very beginning. From those early years at Haverhill High to competing now with Milano Academy FC, soccer has always pushed me to evolve — as a player, as a leader, and now as a coach.

Still competing for Milano Academy FC (Team I manage) — staying sharp, staying in the game, and bringing real on-field experience straight into my coaching.

Staying active in the game allows me to train players with a modern perspective: real speed, real decision-making, and real competitive demands. I’ve lived every stage my players are going through, and that experience fuels how I teach, motivate, and develop them today.
